We begin with a detailed inquiry to understand your goals, timeline, and investment expectations. If we are a good fit, we schedule an initial site visit.

Understand the Property

Our team walks the property with you, assessing the structural realities, light, and flow. We discuss initial concepts and identify any potential constraints early.

Design the Next Story

We introduce you to designers from our trusted circle, professionals we've selected and built with before. You meet them, choose the one whose style and personality fit you, and we manage them like part of our own team. Through renderings and material boards, you see exactly what your space will look like, down to the cabinet hardware.

Plan and Price

Before demolition begins, you receive a written scope, budget and schedule. Materials you have not chosen yet are listed as allowances, so you can see exactly where the number can move.

Build with Clarity

Construction starts. You receive access to the Second Story Client Portal where you can view daily site logs, weekly progress photos, and schedule updates. We manage all trades and inspections.

Complete and Support

We conduct a thorough final walkthrough. Once the final walkthrough is complete, our 2-year workmanship warranty begins. You have a dedicated contact for any adjustments needed as the house settles.
