Technical Precision,
Visual Serenity.

A bathroom is a small room with a lot of trades in it. How long it lasts is decided before the first tile goes on the wall.

Demolition & Prep

Careful removal of existing materials and structural assessment to prepare the space.

Layout & Structure

Adjusting framing, moving walls, and confirming the structural integrity for heavy tubs and large tiles.

Plumbing & Drainage

Relocating lines, managing slopes, setting drains, and installing rough in valves.

Electrical & Air

Planning task and ambient lighting, installing GFCI outlets, and ensuring adequate ventilation.

Waterproofing

Applying rigorous, code compliant moisture barriers to shower pans and wet area walls.

Tile & Surfaces

Measurement, layout, centering, and leveling of floor and wall tile coordinated with niches and fixtures.

Tubs, Showers & Glass

Setting freestanding or alcove tubs, building custom shower bases, and installing enclosures.

Vanities & Fixtures

Mounting cabinetry, setting countertops, and installing the final trim, faucets, and hardware.

Bathroom Remodeling Designed Around Your Scottsdale Home

Bathroom Remodeling Services for Scottsdale Homes

Primary Bath Remodels

A primary bath is where layout, waterproofing, and finishes matter most. We plan the shower, tub, vanity, storage, lighting, and ventilation together, then coordinate framing, plumbing, tile, glass, and fixtures in the right sequence.

Guest & Hall Baths

Guest and hall baths are used constantly and often show their age first. We update tub and shower surrounds, vanities, flooring, and lighting with durable materials, and fix hidden problems such as worn valves or failing waterproofing.

Walk-in Showers & Freestanding Tubs

Converting a tub to a walk-in shower or adding a freestanding tub changes drains, valves, framing, and waterproofing. We confirm feasibility early, build the shower base and membrane correctly, and coordinate glass and fixtures.

Powder Rooms

A powder room is small, so every detail shows. We design the vanity, mirror, lighting, wall finishes, and fixtures as a focused statement for guests, while checking plumbing locations, ventilation, and door swing.

A Methodical Approach.

Because bathroom renovations involve extensive behind the wall utilities and rigid installation sequences, our six step process plans every phase before demolition ever begins.

01

Start the Conversation

We talk through what is not working in your bathroom, how you use it, and the range you have in mind.

02

Property Assessment

We look at the room, plumbing, framing, and ventilation to identify what will affect layout and schedule.

03

Design the Space

We plan the layout, fixtures, and tile so function and finishes work together before ordering.

04

Plan and Price

You get a written scope with allowances and a clear price, plus the sequence and schedule.

05

Build with Clarity

Demolition, rough-in, inspections, waterproofing, tile, and fixtures happen in order, with daily cleanup.

06

Complete and Support

We walk the finished room with you and complete any adjustments. Your work is backed by a 2-year workmanship warranty.

What Drives the Cost of a Bathroom Remodel

Layout changes, plumbing moves, the type of tub or shower, tile or slab selections, glass, vanity choices, and repairs found behind old walls all shape a bathroom budget. Final pricing follows design.

Bathroom Remodeling Across Scottsdale

Scottsdale bathrooms vary by home age. Ranch homes from the 1970s and 1980s often have small, closed baths with aging plumbing, while 1990s stucco homes tend to need updated finishes and showers. Newer North Scottsdale homes may want spa-style suites. (These are general descriptions, not a list of completed projects.) Remodeling FAQs

Understanding the realities of renovating wet spaces.

Your written scope lists what is and isn't included, with an allowance for materials you haven't chosen yet. If something is discovered behind a wall, you see it, you get a written change order, and you approve it before we proceed.

Construction typically takes 1 to 3 weeks on site. Simpler remodels that keep the same layout are closer to 1 week; layout changes and large primary bathrooms are closer to 3 weeks. Design, selections and ordering happen before construction. We review the construction sequence and expected timing with you before work begins, including periods when the room or water cannot be used. Tile, glass, and vanities have lead times, so we order early.

You tell us and we come back. Arizona requires licensed contractors to stand behind residential work, and our ROC license is 361781 if you want to check it.

Floor protection from the entry to the work area, dust containment at the openings, and cleanup at the end of each day. Bathrooms and kitchens generate more dust than people expect, which is why this is planned rather than improvised.

Yes, but relocating fixtures requires moving plumbing supply lines and drains, and sometimes altering the floor joists. These changes affect scope and schedule, so we assess feasibility early in the design process.

Yes. Converting a tub to a walk in shower is a common request that involves relocating the drain, updating the water valve, and installing a new waterproofing system and shower pan.

We utilize industry leading, code compliant waterproofing membranes and systems beneath the tile. Water behind tile can damage framing and cause mold before it becomes visible, so we inspect the membrane and shower pan before tile is installed.

Usually when the work moves plumbing or changes electrical. When the scope requires a permit, DYS handles the documentation, municipal permitting, and necessary inspections to ensure the work is compliant.

Tile offers more pattern options and is easier to repair. Slabs have fewer grout lines but need careful templating.

The biggest factors are layout changes, plumbing moves, tub and shower type, tile and slab choices, glass, vanity, and hidden repairs found in old framing.
“Hired DYS Construction AZ LLC for our bathroom remodel. The chevron tile alignment is spot on and the gold accents look great. Avi handled everything professionally, answered our questions fast, and kept us on schedule. Highly recommend.”
